Ms. Chloe Patchin
Mental Health Counseling Intern | Psychometrist
Therapy with Teens and Adults
Offers evening appointments
Hello! I am Chloe Patchin, a mental health counseling intern working under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Frey. I provide both therapy and evaluations, offering clients a well-rounded and integrated approach to care. I am currently a graduate student at Southeastern University, pursuing my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. My goal is to become a licensed counselor and provide quality, holistic therapeutic services to adolescents and young adults, helping them overcome obstacles and find HOPE again.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and have since gained more than five years of experience as a psychometrist. I have administered a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological assessments to individuals from age 3 through adulthood, working alongside neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, and school psychologists across several states, including here in Central Florida. I currently assist Dr. Frey in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.
I offer neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for individuals ages 4 and older, as well as therapy for teens and adults ages 13–40. Finding a counselor who is experienced in both therapy and psychological testing can be difficult, and having access to both services can be especially beneficial. For clients who need both, this integrated approach can reduce delays associated with outside referrals and allow for a smoother transition from evaluation to treatment. It is important to note that an evaluation is not required to begin therapy. Clients may choose to pursue an evaluation at any point during treatment, or not at all, depending on their individual needs and goals.
I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I strive to create a calm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel safe sharing their experiences and empowered to begin their healing journey. I consider it a privilege when clients trust me with their stories, and I am committed to helping each person build resilience, gain insight, overcome challenges, and rediscover HOPE. My experience in both assessment and therapy also allows me to bring a broader understanding of each client’s strengths and needs into our work together.
Outside of counseling and testing, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, traveling, being in nature, creating art, and playing with my puppy, Odin.
