I’m Janice Torres, currently completing my practicum through Liberty University’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. My path into counseling has been shaped by a life of service, as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, school principal, mother, and founder of a nonprofit dedicated to bridging faith and mental health. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the strength it takes to seek help and the healing that can come from being truly seen and heard.

I offer a calm, compassionate space where individuals and couples can explore life’s challenges and begin the journey toward healing and growth. My counseling approach is rooted in evidence-based methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and guided by a trauma-informed, spiritually sensitive perspective. Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, I count it a privilege to walk alongside them.
